  2. Purpose of Personal Data Processing
    The information in the register is processed in connection with requests for quotes or orders, invoicing, collections, customer interactions, research, and other activities related to customer management. The information in the register may also be used for marketing purposes, provided that the customer’s industry or role aligns with the event’s sector.
  3. Register Content
    Customer contact details (company information and personal details), profiling information, as well as order, offer, research, and contract details.
  4. Regular Data Sources
    Contact and order information for the register is obtained through the customer’s request for a quote or order, by collecting public contact details, or via marketing registers provided by partners.
  5. Regular data disclosures and transfers outside the EU or European Economic Area
    Data from the customer register will not be disclosed or transferred outside the EU or European Economic Area.
  6. Principles of Register Protection
    Access to the system containing customer data and the ability to modify that data is restricted to specifically designated employees of the data controller and employees of companies acting on behalf of the data controller. Access is limited to information necessary for the performance of their job duties. Employees handling customer register data are bound by confidentiality. Information is only shared or disclosed to third parties in accordance with legal obligations, such as at the request of the customer or a lawful request from authorities. The system is protected by technical solutions.
  7. Registered person’s right of access
    A registered person has the right to check the information stored about them in the register and to obtain copies of it. The request for access must be made in writing and addressed to the responsible party for register matters (see section 2).
  8. Correcting Information
    The data controller will proactively correct, remove, or complete any personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated for the purpose of processing, either on their own initiative or at the request of the data subject. The data subject should contact the relevant party responsible for registry matters in writing to request the correction of information (see section 2).
  9. Right to Object
    The individual has the right to object to the processing of their personal data by the data controller for the purposes of direct marketing, remote sales, and other forms of direct marketing, as well as for market and opinion research, personal registries, and genealogy. This objection must be made in writing and directed to the relevant data protection authority (see section 2).
  10. Changing the Privacy Policy
    Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd is continually developing its business and therefore reserves the right to amend this privacy policy by notifying users through our services. Changes may also be based on updates to legislation. We encourage our registered users to regularly review the content of the privacy policy.
